Hands down the best restaurant in Western New York. A great place for a meal or stop for a few drinks. Came in tonight for their special Valentine's Day menu and everything on it looked amazing! Always a great time and 5 star service.

The first floor bar now offers craft beer on tap along with a great selection of domestic and imported beer, varietal wines and a fun selection of specialty cocktails. There are multiple televisions for watching your favorite sports while enjoying some great food with a cold brew. You will also find a classic jukebox (circa 1970) with a great mix of tunes for less than 30 cents each! Our “Pub-like” menu is loaded with a wide variety of Legacy tasters, unique sandwiches, burgers and more!
On the upper level, you will find the atmosphere a little different with linen tablecloths and napkins, dinner music and a cozy cocktail bar for your enjoyment. You can find delicious dinner options from steak to pasta, featuring Mama Martinelli’s special sauce and meatball recipe (passed down from the owner’s family)! But, that’s not all…our exceptionally talented Executive Chef Lukas loves to create a “feature of the day” that is sure to make your mouth water.
During the building renovation in 2000, we were able to obtain some special items of particular interest to Western New Yorkers, from well known restaurants located in Orchard Park, Ellicottville and N. Buffalo. The beautiful chandelier that hangs in our side entryway once adorned the main entrance to the popular Orchard Downs Restaurant in Orchard Park. Several “Ellicottville Inn” brass light fixtures now shine above the first floor dining area and many of our pedestal tables once filled the dining room of the Saratoga Restaurant in N. Buffalo. We love displaying these treasures from many surrounding areas, to help folks recall many enjoyable experiences and to carry on the tradition of fun times at The Legacy. Maybe these familiar surroundings are why so many of our guests say we offer a very “comfortable” atmosphere!
You will often see the owner, Ted Winkey, at a tableside sharing stories with guests or giving a little welcome tour to “first-timers”. A few of our menu items, specially named, have intriguing stories about them and, when you stop in, you’ll know the rest of the story!
We hope you will come visit The Legacy and see, for yourself, what a special place we have located right in the center of the lovely village of Springville and just minutes from the 219 expressway. We’ll be waiting for you with our cheerful staff, a welcoming smile and maybe even a funny story or two!
Please come and see us – you owe it to yourself…
